Does anyone have evidence if Elizabeth Arden tests on animals?

I got some Elizabeth Arden make up for Christmas but was later told that they test on animals. I've tried to find out for definate but with no sucess. Would be good if anyone knows how I can find out for sure. Thanks. xxDoes anyone have evidence if Elizabeth Arden tests on animals?
Elizabeth Arden is not listed on any of PETA's sites for testing or not testing. BUT, their corporate website says nothing about cruelty free products anywhere so I think that is a red flag. Usually if a company is cruelty free, it is on product labels and can be found somewhere in the company literature. Here is PETA's site:Does anyone have evidence if Elizabeth Arden tests on animals?
By law the company has to have it printed on the label if they test on animals. So if it is not printed on the label, then I would say its safe to say they do not test on animals.

OK miss smarty pants. In the state of iowa... it is that way! I figured it was the same every where else.
There is no such law that requires corporations to disclose animal testing on their products. Much of the cosmetics and persnoal hygeine products you purchase were tested on animals, or their individual ingredients were. The FDA does not have the authority to approve cosmetics (only the labeling, and they only care about ingredients, not testing). There is a website www.caringconsumer.com that lists companies that do or don't test on animals. Unfortunately, Elizabeth Arden is not on either list, so I can't be sure if they do or don't.
