Any good interview tips?Anyone out there working for a cosmetic counter? Especially Elizabeth Arden?
Don't overdo it on the makeup. If you turn up looking like a cheap hooker, your manager isn't going to be impressed. Don't overdo the colours and keep it natural and subtle. Try not to overdo it on Arden products either - manager's hate try hard's. Make sure you are fresh faced, perky and your outfit is decent, ironed and cleaned. Hair should be tyed back neatly, or if left out, make sure it is frizz free and clean.
Speaking wise, talk only when talked to, and don't give extensive random answers. Keep it short, simple and sweet but not boring. Let your personality shine through and don't act nervous or scared - they thrive on confidence.

my aunt works for them, they sent her home once because she wasnt wearing enough make up lol
i suggest you should wear matte foundation with a light pink foundation, lots of mascara and a nice brown gold creamy eyeshadow and lipgloss with a hint of pink. make sure you have your hair tied up in a ponytail, and only wear studded earrings. wear heels and don't overdo your outfit, its all in the make up
in the interview be yourself smile alot, nod alot, ask questions and sell yourself tell tehem everything about you!
